Students who choose Music Major will have the opportunity to learn music in both a traditional and non-traditional manner. Attendees have the option of learning guitar, piano, percussion, ukulele, songwriting, singing, bass, drums, etc. via individualized lessons. Guidance on basic music theory, composition and collaborative techniques will be provided as students form bands and create music together.
Within the group setting of rock band class, students have the chance to learn both from their instructor as well as the always-helpful students already enrolled in the class. The laid-back atmosphere of this course allows those with interest and passion to truly thrive and have a period to work on their craft in whatever way they see fit, while having access to instruction and other resources through their teacher.
